Our Heart
Jaime, who trained in the performing arts as a child and young adult, recognized the power of musical theatre to impact lives and spark conversations after a visit to the theatre.
She wondered: What if this art form could be used to share the gospel, making it come alive and attracting audiences to discuss the message of Jesus after leaving the theatre?
The idea for Manna began in Jaime and Gary's hearts during a difficult time when Jaime was very unwell and housebound. For her full story, please visit the 'Our Founders' page.
In 2007, they devoted themselves to full-time Christian work.
Manna started with just a handful of children in a small hall above a Safeway in Hertfordshire. The organization was founded on the mission of training children and adults to use the arts to present the gospel, drawing in crowds and taking the message to the marketplace.
Over the past 18 years, Manna has evolved into a training and sending organisation. The Crick family travels together, sharing the gospel through performances at various events while also training children and adults to do the same. As a family of six, they are all committed to this calling.
Their vision continues to expand.
Our Home
The Dwelling is a dream vision for an Arts Mission, serving as a home for the Manna family to grow, expand, and impact generations to come.
Our goal is to acquire 2-3 acres or more and establish a base in the North West, within an hour of Liverpool.
As a home for Manna, The Dwelling will provide a space for training in Christian Performance Arts, facilitating the growth of Manna's mission.
We envision a performance and training centre set in beautiful surroundings that showcase God’s goodness and beauty.
The Dwelling will serve as a location for churches to host away days, training sessions, or simply a place to escape.
It will be a space where prayer can happen 24/7, fostering worship encounters and training in the arts and performances that bring the gospel to life.
